At this annual College Station holiday spirited event, I volunteered at the snow slide which is large blue slide covered in snow and families or individuals sat in a tube and slid down. I was able to contribute to these people’s ride by pushing the tube down the slide, and I also collected the tube at the end of the ride and set it up again for the next person.
I felt that it would’ve been a better experience if the event coordinator spoke to the volunteers about the condition of the ride. Volunteers should’ve been told that the area was wet and muddy, so that they were able to prepare for the event as well as reminded that it was an outdoor event, so bundling up would be helpful.
