Team Organizer – organized teams to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association as well as participate in the walk.

 

The purpose of the event was to promote awareness within the community about the issues of Alzheimer’s and raise funds for the Association.

 

I learned that it is easier to ask for money as a donation than to donate their time to walk.  From a volunteer’s perspective, signage for parking needed to be clearer.
